How are clients referred to Bridging?

We rely upon our community partner’s knowledge of the client and their situation.  All of our clients come to us through referrals from social service agencies, non-profit organizations and churches.

 

Can someone use Bridging more than one time?

No, someone can only use Bridging once in their life.  There is a program for clients who only need beds and they would be able to use Bridging again in the future for furniture, but will not receive beds at that time.

 

Is there a yearly fee to be an agency associated with Bridging?

There is not a yearly association fee to be an agency partnering with Bridging.  There is a fee per service for each client referred to the warehouse.  The fee is $45 per client. 

 

Are there a minimum number of clients an agency has to refer in a year?

No, there are not a minimum number of clients an agency need to refer in a year.  The number of clients referred is dependent on the agencies need for the service.    

 

Can a husband and wife (boyfriend/girlfriend/partner) go with the client into the warehouse?

We are only able to allow the client to go through the warehouse when choosing items.  Exceptions are made only when a translator is needed, the client is a youth (under 18) and if the client needs to have a worker with them due to mental health/anxiety issues.
